白毛門 | 松ノ木沢ノ頭から仰いだ谷川岳のモルゲンロート
白毛門（しらがもん）は、群馬県みなかみ町に位置する標高1,720メートルの山で、谷川連峰の東端にあたる。

登山口は土合駅からほど近い土合橋付近にあり、標高差約1,000メートルの急登を経て、山頂に至る。
ルート終盤の松ノ木沢ノ頭は見晴らしの良いポイントで目の前に大きく現れる谷川岳と真正面に対峙する。日の出前、太陽がまだ地平線下にあり淡い光が拡散され山々の稜線を赤く染めるモルゲンロートを拝むことができる。
山頂からは谷川岳主稜線や笠ヶ岳、朝日岳をはじめ、越後山脈や上信越の山々を一望でき、眺望の良さが特徴。群馬県内 最難関のひとつとして、そのまま幾多ものピークを辿り谷川岳まで縦走する谷川馬蹄形ルートとしても知られる。
登るほどに視界が開け、谷川連峰のスケールを間近に感じられる山として、中級以上の登山者に支持されている。

Shiragamon (1,720 m) is a mountain located in Minakami, Gunma Prefecture, forming the eastern edge of the Tanigawa Mountain Range.
The trailhead begins near Doai Bridge, close to Doai Station. From there, climbers ascend roughly 1,000 meters of steep trail to reach the summit. One of the most scenic points along the route is Matsunokizawa-no-kashira, where the massive face of Mt. Tanigawa rises directly ahead. Before sunrise, when the sun is still below the horizon, diffused light paints the ridgelines in shades of red—a phenomenon known as Morgenröte.
From the summit, hikers can enjoy sweeping views of the Tanigawa main ridge, Mt. Kasagatake, Mt. Asahidake, as well as the Echigo and Joshinetsu ranges. The mountain is also a gateway to the renowned Tanigawa Horseshoe Traverse, a demanding route linking multiple peaks all the way to Mt. Tanigawa—regarded as one of the most challenging undertakings in Gunma.
As the climb progresses, the views open wider, allowing hikers to feel the scale and presence of the Tanigawa Range up close. For this reason, Shiragamon is especially valued among intermediate and advanced mountaineers.
