三国境周辺の稜線 | The Ridge of Mikunizakai
三国境から三方向へと伸びる稜線は、花崗岩が連なる無機質かつ有機的な景観が特徴的。日本海側からの風や雨雪による浸食により削がれ荒涼とした岩肌は、白霧の切れ目から届く陽光を反射して白く輝き、周囲の植生を遠ざけるかのように乾いた質感を帯びている。
下界の雑音が届かない静謐なこの場所は、歩を進めるたびに異星にいるかのような感覚を想起させる。
剥き出しの大地の隙間に僅かな命が根を張り、風雪に耐えながら高地特有の風景を形成する稀有な空間である。

The ridgelines stretching from the Mikunizakai extend in three directions, forming a landscape both inorganic and yet curiously organic with its stretches of exposed granite.
The rock surfaces, rounded through years of erosion by wind, rain, and snow from the Sea of Japan, reflect pale light through breaks in the mist, their dry textures seemingly pushing back the encroaching vegetation.
In this quiet highland far removed from the noise of the lowlands, each step evokes the sense of walking across another world.
Within the gaps of the bare earth, small forms of life take root and endure the wind and snow — shaping a rare and distinctive alpine landscape.
